About me
My name is Emőke Wagner, I was born in Hungary, in a small town called Sopron near the Austrian border. Being in the water has played a huge role in my childhood, I swam and played waterpolo for many years, not to mention spending time near the sea on family vacations. In 2013, I graduated from the Semmelweis University of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, Budapest where I earned my degree as a humankynesologist. After spending couple of years in the medical field, I decided to take a chance on my new passion and become a diving instructor. Between 2014 and 2017 I worked in the Maldives as a recreational diving instructor. Working in the industry has also opened my eyes about safe diving techniques. This was the time when I found GUE. In 2017 I moved to Mexico to gather more experience and start cave diving seriously. Since that, I became a passionate cave instructor and explorer, and I can also happily say I do every day what I really love!
